# The Omaha Well Project

> An Omaha non-profit. Hot pizza and cold water handed to people living outside, no intake form and no ID check. 100% of donations buy food and water. Raising $35,000 for a shower trailer; $4,200 is in.

## Who this is for
Anyone in Omaha who wants to give, come on a run, or find a shower and a meal tonight. A gift is not tax-deductible: 501(c)(3) is still pending.

## What is not settled
501(c)(3) is pending, not granted. The trailer is not bought. The $4,200 figure is the project's own and is not independently audited.

## What actually happens
A truck goes out with hot pizza and cold water and hands them to people living outside in Omaha. No form, no ID, no religious requirement, no questions.

## The three rules
- Know their name: Their name, their dog's name. Not "a homeless person".
- Ask nothing: No form, no ID, no sermon.
- Sit down: Food first, then stay and listen.

## The shower trailer
$4,200 raised of $35,000, which is 12%. Not bought yet.

## Giving
Venmo only, at @muchloveomaha. 100% goes to food, water, gas and the trailer. Nobody draws a salary. 501(c)(3) is pending, so a gift is not tax-deductible.
